Tottenham player ratings against Fulham: Kane excellent, Richarlison and Sessegnon impress, Son sharp - Football.London

Hugo Lloris

Called into action at the start of the second half and produced an impressive save to keep out Alexsandar Mitrovic’s effort. However, could not do anything about the striker’s fine goal but denied the striker late on with a superb save to stop his deflected effort falling in. 7

Christian Romero

Back in the Tottenham XI after his recent adductor problem and settled back straight away. Really should have done better in a 50-50 deal with Mitrovic for the Serbian’s strike. 6

Eric Dier

Against Mitrovic but didn’t exactly have much to do early on with Tottenham on top and in control. Had a chance to score his second of the season shortly after the break but he couldn’t keep his effort down from Richarlison’s cross. 7

Clement Lenglet

Gave his full Tottenham arc and looked calm and composed on the ball coming out of the back. A good full debut from the Frenchman. 7

Emerson Royal

Got into some good positions but his crossing let him down at times. However, played a key role in the opening with some determined play in the far corner to help Tottenham win the ball, which led to a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg net. 7

Rodrigo Bentancur

Came back after missing out at West Ham and Spurs looked much better to have him in the middle with his calm play. Some good pressing and defensive work in the second half. 8

Peter-Emile Hojbjerg

Netted the opener with some really good field play as he burst towards the box and linked up with Richarlison before finding the bottom corner. Another solid showing from the Dane. 7

Ryan Sessegnon

Back in the XI and made a crucial tackle within the first three minutes when Bobby De Cordova-Reid went through on goal, before charging upfield after linking up well with Harry Kane. The ex-Fulham man impressed throughout against his old club with his driving runs down the left flank. Had a big part in Kane’s strike and unfortunately saw an assist ruled out in the dying minutes for Richarlison. 9

Finally got a start after some really positive displays from the bench and impressed throughout with some brilliant play and his hard work. Linked up well with Kane numerous times before doing the same with Hojbjerg for the opener. Unlucky to see a goal ruled out late on following a great change. 9

Harry Kane

Started the game extremely well and forced Bernd Leno into action early on after a smart turn on the edge of the box. Pulled the strings for Spurs, notably picking out Son Heung-min with a wonderful ball not long before the break. A great display and got the goal his performance deserved, with his strike seeing him equal Thierry Henry on 43 goals in London derbies. 9

Son Heung-min

Found the net with a swinging cross early on but goal was ruled out for offside, before then hitting the crossbar after linking up extremely well with Kane ten minutes before half-time. A really energetic performance from the player as he did everything but score. 8

Dejan Kulusevski (Harry Kane, 77)

Not long, but put an inviting cross in the box that no one could finish. 6

Ivan Perisic (Son Heung-min, 84)

Not much time to make an impact. 5
