Chelsea‘s Champions League home game against Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday will go ahead but their Premier League fixture against Liverpool on Sunday was postponed.

New head coach Graham Potter will take charge of his first game this week against Red Bull Salzburg, his first game in charge in the Champions League.

With the Liverpool game postponed, however, the 47-year-old will have to wait until after the international break for his first Premier League game as Chelsea head coach – with the west London side set to face off. With the Liverpool game set to be moved, it is the second successive league game to be called off for Chelsea, after their fixture against Fulham was postponed at the weekend.
