The EFL announced the resumption of midweek fixtures on Monday, with the only two London-based fixtures being a Championship side Millwallthe game against Queens Park Rangers and the League One tie between Charton Athletic and Forest Green Rovers.
Along with Chelsea, several other British sides will also be in action this week in the Champions League, Europa League and European Conference League.

There are two other Premier League matches scheduled to take place in the capital next weekend. on saturday, Tottenham Hotspur are planned to host Leicester City and Brentford are scheduled to play Arsenal on Sunday, before Chelsea had to face Liverpool in the late kick-off.
With the Liverpool game set to be moved, it is the second successive league game to be called off for Chelsea, after their fixture against Fulham was postponed at the weekend.
